Pioupiou celebrates Saint Nicolas

Pioupiou celebrates Saint Nicolas

Here is the news of the weekend. Live from the Lumbin Christmas market, where merchants play with our paragliding candles. It is while waiting to have acquired Google by selling billions of Pioupious.

But don't worry: we didn't just do that this week. Quite the contrary!

Pioupiou all beautiful

This time around, it's the right size, in the right color, with just about the right shape.

Small photoshoot:

Pioupiou all plugged in

After that, we took care of the electronics.

First schematically:

Then a little more real:

(yes yes, the entire Pioupiou electronics fit on this little card)

Then even more in real life, to receive some prototype copies next week:

Pioupiou sold out

I just finished the online store: http://shop.pioupiou.fr. Right on time to play at Saint-Nicolas.

Orders are open again!

And as previously announced, there is no longer a subscription for communication. So instead of €199 + €20 every year, you pay €239 once and that's it. Your Pioupiou will be
connected alone to the internet, all his life, without you having anything
at all to do or to pay more. Magic !

Good news to finish: if you missed this summer's KissKissBankBank campaign, you can still buy Pioupiou at the price " before premiere » of 199 € TTC, delivery included. But hurry: this offer is only valid until January 18th.

  1. Hello,

I hope the shape we see on this page is a prototype. I think it would be a shame (if it's financially possible) that the piou piou loses its bird form planned a few weeks ago.

    1. In fact, it's not so much a financial question. It is above all that the “bird” shape does not work: the centreboard is not far enough back while being too heavy. So for now, I'm working. We will see later if we can do better.

  2. Question for GPS option on current orders:

-Is the GPS only used as an anti-theft device?

-Or also to locate the position of the beacon, kind on an online map with measurements? if or what will be the refresh rate?

Request for help: who would have a pioupiou 1st version that he could lend-rent to test the SIGFOX coverage? we are in Switzerland close to the border… it should pass, but not sure….
