Everything is ordered

Everything is ordered

All that was missing was the electronics. And it's done.

I just sent out the order for the making of the cards.

Lots of cards!

The tiny one:

And the second small one (but still bigger):

Well, there's also the queue, but we'll forget about it for now.

So if we do all of that multiplied by 500, that's a lot of cards.

That's so many cards, you have to organize a bit. So I prepared panels. Basically, instead of carrying around the cards one by one, we make a large plate with 20 cards at once (10 + 10).

They will all be assembled at the same time, and they will be separated only after the welding is finished.

Well, that's still 50 panels to solder. And since we obviously won't be doing this by hand, I'm in the process of finalizing the deal with various subcontractors.

Champagne, code and contracts!!

Cards are ordered. So all parts are ordered! So it's celebrating! Hooray!

Now all I have to do is wait to receive everything.

But that's good, because there are still plenty of things to do. Like tweaking Pioupiou's internal software. And then we will also have to take care of the website and the API, one of these days...

This is also the time to take care of the logistics. Like opening a Business account at La Poste… Because to send 500 parcels, you won't have to wake up at the last minute.

I also made an appointment with the lawyer. We're going to have a lot of paperwork to do. There are silly things like " if Pioupiou tells you there's no wind and you kill yourself, it's not my fault ". But there are also things that say: a company can reuse the Pioupious measurements, but only if it gives us access to its own stations – there, it becomes more technical.

Aperitif

In the series of other things to do, there is obviously the aperitif.

So the 28th, 29th and 30th of May is the celebration of startups in France. It is called Startup Assembly. More than a thousand startups open their doors and organize events.

I had to do something too. It is called " Pioupiou, Weather and Aperitif », and it will happen Saturday, May 30 at the St-Hilaire landing.

THE mission

We will also celebrate my first official mission!

We'll talk about it next week 😉

Brief. Everything is moving like clockwork.
